| The American remake of the renowned Japanese film Seven Samurai (also play at this year’s PCFF), launched the careers of James Coburn, Charles Bronson, and Steve McQueen, all of whom became international stars after their appearances in this exciting and timeless film. Lead Yul Brynner gathers six out-of-work gunfighters to help protect a Mexican farm village from marauding bandits. The septet dole out equal measures of courage and lead and learn something of the simple life along the way.
